Our athletes train within their own program category with other runners at the same level. All programs are built by the coaching staff and designed for each runner's specific goals and ability.
Elementary (Little GURRs – Elementary Grades 4-8 Group Completed in Two camps, Spring-USS Track (Mid April to Mid June) Fall Elgin Park (Late August to Mid Oct))
The goals for the elementary athletes:
To help the athlete’s passion for running develop into a life long love of fitness.
To encourage athletes involved in other sports to enhance their overall athletic potential through the physical and mental benefits of running.
To foster a love for the sport despite level of fitness.
High School (Youth/Junior) High School Age Group This is an all year around program with Breaks in July and Dec. Fall Meet Elgin Park in Uxbridge, Indoors Jan-Mid Mar, Outdoor Uxbridge and All Saints in Whitby
The goals for the HS athletes:
To build progressively throughout their time in the club.
To prepare Athletes for the level at which they chose to engage in. Athletes goals and training will reflect their individual needs and goals.
To foster the development of a well-rounded athlete through building their character, work-ethic, time management, sportsmanship, and goal-setting and execution skills
University Age Group
This is our smallest group but it’s home for the athletes when they come back from school. This allows them to give back to the sport and inspire the next crop of athletes while pursuing their individual goals at the next level of development.
